How do credits work?

Audexum1 min

Audexum uses one credit balance for everything. For speech, 1 credit equals 1 character on the V1 engine, and V2, V3 and V4 cost 1.5, 2 and 4 credits per character. Transcription costs 200 credits per minute of audio.

What does each action cost?

  • V1 Instant: 1 credit per character.
  • V2 Multilingual: 1.5 credits per character.
  • V3 Expressive: 2 credits per character.
  • V4 Real: 4 credits per character.
  • Transcription and dictation: 200 credits per minute of audio, or 12,000 an hour.
  • Dubbing: 1,800 credits per minute of output (Pro plan and above).

Costs are rounded up. For example, 1,000 characters on V3 cost 2,000 credits. Acting tags such as <laugh> are never billed.

Where do credits come from?

  • Free plan: 2,000 credits once at signup, then 250 a day.
  • Paid plans: a monthly allowance, from 480,000 credits on Creator to 15 million on Business.
  • Credit packs: one-time purchases that never expire.

Which credits are spent first?

Your monthly or daily allowance is spent first, then any pack credits. When both run out, requests are refused until the allowance resets or you add credits. See Why did my generation fail with 'out of credits'?
