How does dictation work?

Audexum Dictate types what you say at your cursor in any Windows app: press Ctrl+Shift+Space, speak, and press it again to stop. It costs 200 credits per minute, and there are also a browser version and an Android app.
How do I install and start it?
- Windows: get it from the Microsoft Store through Download. It needs Windows 10 or 11 on x64 and Edge WebView2.
- Android: install the APK from the same page. It adds a mic over any keyboard.
- Browser: use Dictation or Dictation Studio, no install.
Signing in from the app opens audexum.com in your browser, and there is no key to paste.
What can it do?
- A toggle, not a hold: press the hotkey to start and again to stop. You can rebind it to Caps Lock, F13 or another key.
- It removes fillers and adds punctuation, then inserts the text where your caret is.
- Command Mode: select text, speak an instruction, and it rewrites in place.
- Transcribe files up to 25 MB and 10 minutes, or a YouTube link, and keep everything you dictate in one searchable library.

Dictation uses 200 credits a minute from the same balance as text to speech. The 2,000 free signup credits cover 10 minutes, and the 250 daily free credits cover 1.25 minutes.
